Delivery

Delivery is carried out according to the provisions mentioned below, depending on the delivery zone specified by the Customer.

Any order placed on the MEDUSE website before 11 a.m. from Monday to Thursday (excluding public holidays) will be prepared and shipped within 48 hours, subject to payment validation (see section 5. Payment). Orders placed on a Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday (excluding Ascension bridge holidays) will be processed on the next business day.

No partial deliveries will be made.

4.1. Delivery in Mainland France and Corsica (= Zone 1) The Customer can choose from the following paid delivery options:

Chronopost tracked delivery with 2 options:

  • Express home delivery: delivery the next day before 6 p.m. (if the order is placed before 11 a.m.)

  • Delivery to a pickup point: delivery is free for purchases over €70.

4.2. Delivery in Europe and Outside Europe

European Zone Countries

The Customer can choose from the following paid delivery options:

  • Chronopost pickup point delivery: this service costs €15.00 including VAT for parcels up to 2 kg; €20.00 including VAT for parcels up to 5 kg. If the parcel weighs more than 5 kg, the DHL option must be selected.

  • DHL home or pickup point delivery within 4 to 5 days: this service costs €25.00 including VAT for parcels up to 5 kg; €30.00 including VAT for parcels up to 10 kg; €40.00 including VAT for parcels up to 15 kg. If the parcel weighs more than 15 kg, the order cannot be processed, and the customer must contact MEDUSE to determine the exact shipping cost.

Non-European Zone Countries

  • DHL home or pickup point delivery within 4 to 5 days: this service costs €25.00 including VAT for parcels up to 5 kg; €30.00 including VAT for parcels up to 10 kg; €40.00 including VAT for parcels up to 15 kg. If the parcel weighs more than 15 kg, the order cannot be processed, and the customer must contact MEDUSE to determine the exact shipping cost.

IMPORTANT: Customs duties, import taxes, or other applicable charges may be required when MEDUSE products enter the country of residence of the Customer. These duties and taxes, regardless of their nature or designation, are not the responsibility of MEDUSE. The Customer must therefore be informed of the applicable obligations under the legislation and regulations of the relevant country and must fulfill any required declarations and/or payments to the appropriate institutions, authorities, and organizations.


Returns

7.1. Timeframe for returning an item The Customer has 15 business days from the date of receipt of the goods to return any item(s) at their own expense, provided they meet the conditions outlined below.

7.2. Return conditions We offer refunds only.

Complete the return form provided with your order.

Place it inside the package before returning it to the following address: HUMEAU BEAUPREAU, meduse.com, 80 rue des Forges, Beaupréau, 49600 Beaupréau en Mauges, France.

7.3. Product condition All returned products (shoes, original packaging, accessories, instructions, etc.) must be new, unused, and in their original, undamaged, and unwritten-on box.

Upon receipt of the package, MEDUSE will assess the condition of the returned merchandise. Returns will not be accepted, and refunds will not be issued if the products have been visibly used or damaged by the customer.

7.4. Refunds If the return meets the conditions mentioned above, MEDUSE will process the refund within 15 days of receiving the returned goods.

Initial shipping fees will not be refunded unless the return is due to non-conformity of the products or an error in the delivered items compared to those ordered.

The refund will be issued via bank transfer.


Legal Guarantees

Legal guarantee of conformity

The products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L 217-1 to L 217-32 of the Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (Article 1641 and following of the Civil Code).

Any warranty is excluded in cases of external damage, improper use, non-compliant use, negligence, or lack of maintenance by the Customer, as well as normal product wear and tear.


Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L.121-21 of the Consumer Code, the Customer has a period of 14 days to exercise their right of withdrawal without providing any reason. The period begins on the day of receipt of the order confirmation by the Customer or by a third party designated by them. If the 14-day period expires on a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday, it is extended to the next business day.

To exercise their right of withdrawal, the Customer must notify MEDUSE of their decision before the deadline.

The Customer may return the item to the following address: HUMEAU BEAUPREAU, meduse.com, 80 rue des Forges, Beaupréau, 49600 Beaupréau en Mauges, France.

The Customer must include the completed return form (provided with the package) or a handwritten note indicating the order number.

If the entire order is returned, the Customer will be refunded the initial shipping fees, except for any additional costs arising from choosing a more expensive delivery method than the standard shipping option offered by MEDUSE, in accordance with the law.

Partial returns will result in a refund of only the returned product(s). Initial shipping fees will not be refunded, as shipping costs are fixed and do not depend on the number of items ordered.

Return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the Customer.

The refund will be processed within 14 days from the date MEDUSE is informed of the Customer's decision to withdraw. However, the refund may be delayed until MEDUSE receives the returned item(s) or proof of shipment.

The refund will be issued via bank transfer.

Refunds will not be processed if the returned item has suffered depreciation due to handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and conformity.
